自分の仕事を振り返ると　登り窯で焚くこと　織部を作ること　道具の器であることの三つに集約される　
他に何もない　古典に倣う事も入るかもしれない　
かたちは使うことから生まれたものが好きで　姿は愉し気なものが好き　
異素材の工芸からの借用ということが嘗ての焼き物の姿を豊かにしたところはアリだとおもう
織部焼の思想というのは唐突なものではなくて大和歌や俳句に近い（勘だけど）様式を持つことで
自在性を獲得した短詩系工芸かもしれない・・・などと思ってみたり

Main theme of my lifework should emerge into three works: firing in a climbing kiln, making Oribe, and making functional pottery.
Following the classic may able to be counted as fourth, and I cannot think of other.
I believe in forms functionary developed, and in shapes to be pleasant.
I think Oribe was branched out from traditional forms, inspired by other crafts.
Unique philosophy of Oribe ware was not mutation, but short-poetry-pottery that acquired autonomy by having close style of Yamato-uta poetry or haiku…That is my wild analogy.
