最高峰 両子山を中心にそびえる山々は、信仰対象とする山岳宗教の発展した地。
その景は、壮大で、とても美しい。
東京で生れ育ち、スペインへ留学、唐津での修行、サラリーマンをも経験し紆余曲折、そして辿り着いた国東半島。
春夏秋冬二十四節気を感じながら、季節に寄り添い生きる彼の姿をみるに、この全体が「弥盛成地」のような特別な場所は、想像以上に作陶にも影響しているようだ。理想の器を求めて土を拈り、日々生み出されていく菊池克の作品には、何やら心に沁みるものがある。
