Chawan, Aka-raku ‘紅韻’ 赤　『紅韻』

こんもりした碗形となっているが、山庵先生の茶碗にしてはやや薄造りで口の一部を互い違いのようにしているのがこの茶碗の特徴的である。釉薬が少し濃くなったところには卯の斑が、茶碗の所々には黒い斑紋が出ていて赤との対比が面白い茶碗となっている。

It is hardly ever seen such a thin tea bowl by Sannan, and the clay at the rim is made alternate. The contrast of the white running glaze, called Unohu, and black spots over the red tea bowl is very attractive.
