Framed Calligraphy and Painting, Narcissus 水仙画賛

画面から見切れるほど伸びやかに描かれた水仙。

葉は薄い墨で水を含むように描かれている。
花は細く繊細な線で描かれ、水仙のしなやかさが感じられる。

全体的に控えめで落ち着いた雰囲気を纏う。

昭和初期頃の魯山人先生は緻密で色彩豊かな画を残している。

画賛は晩唐の詩人、羅隠の漢詩「玉簪」から。
本来は玉簪花についての詩だがここでは水仙の画賛として用いている。

「雪魄氷姿俗不侵　阿誰移植小窓陰　若非月姉黄金釧　難買天孫白玉簪」
