1950年 岡山県備前伊部に生まれる武蔵野美術大学彫刻科に学んだ後、父、素山の下で陶芸の道に入る
1980年 岡山にて初個展
2003年 日本陶磁協会賞受賞
田部美術館「茶の湯の造形展」奨励賞を受賞
淡交ビエンナーレ奨励賞を受賞
2005年 新窯築窯
当苑にて新窯展「Going, Going, Gone」開催
2008年 当苑にて個展「ことのは」(茶碗)展
2009年 日本橋壷中居にて「下戸の酒器」展
2012年 菊池寛実記念智美術館にて「生まれくるもの」展
2014年 当苑にて「金重有邦個展」
2018年 山陽新聞賞 文化功労賞受賞
平成29年度日本陶磁協会賞 金賞受賞
2019年 県重要無形文化財「備前焼制作技術」に認定される
1950 Born the second son of KANESHIGE Sozan (he is the younger brother
of KANESHIGE Toyo), in Okayama.
After dropping out of Musashino Art University, he studied under his father.
He has held solo exhibitions in several places.
1980 Held his first exhibition in Okayama.
2003 Won the Japan Ceramic Society award.
Also won prizes for encouragement at the Chano-yu (Tea Ceremony)
Figurative Arts Exhibition by the Tanabe Museum of Art and Tanko
Biennale exhibition.
Held an exhibition "Umarete Kuru Mono (To be born)" at Musee Tomo.
2005 Built a new kiln
Held an exhibition "Going, Going, Gone" at Shibuya Kurodatoen
2008 Held an exhibition of tea bowls "Kotonoha" at Shibuya Kurodatoen
2014 Held his solo Exhibition at Shibuya Kurodatoen
2018 Won The Sanyo Shimbun Award (Culture Prize)
Received the year of 2017 the Gold Prize at Japan Ceramic Society
2019 Appointed as an important Intangible Cultural Properties, in the field
of "Bizen Pottery Technique"
